Commemorative events to be held on the 16th anniversary of Khojaly genocide in most countries of the world

Commemorative events will be held on the 16th anniversary of Khojaly genocide in most countries of the world, head of administration of the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad Nariman Gurbanov told APA. He said that the committee prepares plan of events on the anniversary of Khojaly genocide. According to Gurbanov, Azerbaijani communities will hold commemorative events in different countries of the world and inform the people of these countries of the genocide. Nariman Gurbanov said commemorative events will be held in Canada, US, Turkey, Estonia, Germany, France, England, Denmark, Austria and other countries. He said monument in memory of Khojaly genocide victims will be unveiled in the Netherlands on February 24.
