â€œForum of Azerbaijani students studying abroad will be held in Los-Angeles. It is known that, Armenians have got a lot of opportunities in Los-Angeles, US. They try to possess Azerbaijani music and kitchen using all means. Their poets and composers also try to appropriate our culture,â€ Commenting on presentation of Azerbaijani music and culture as Armenian culture in telemarathons held in Los-Angeles by Armenians, Azad Rahimov, Azerbaijani Youth and Sport minister told the APA
Minister stated that this policy has been pursued for years and mentioned the film of â€œArshin mal alan â€œoperetta by Uzeir Hajibeyov.
â€œAt that time Stalin told to film this operetta in a short time then Armenians will say that this is our film. That film was made and demonstrated. Their policy against us has been pursued for years,â€ he said. Minister noted that he has recently met with Elin Suleymanov, Azerbaijani consul general to Los-Angeles and spoke about these issues.
â€œI hear a lot of talks about Armenians. But we participate in many international conferences and accept all the youth of world in Azerbaijan. We try to inform them about Azerbaijanâ€™s realities. We will speak about Nagorno Karabakh conflict, todayâ€™s problems of Azerbaijan and their solution, successes of our country in the forum of Azerbaijani students which will be held in Los-Angeles soon. Well-known American senators, businessmen, members of parliament will participate at the event,â€ Mr. Suleymanov said./APA/
