Elin Suleymanov:â€ Azerbaijani Diaspora does not use its potentialâ€

It is high time for Azerbaijani Diaspora to hold telemarathons in our country. We would like Azerbaijani Diaspora to be active and not expect step of Armenians,â€ Elin Suleymanov, Consul General of Azerbaijan to Los-Angeles, US told the APA while commenting on telemarathons carried out by Hayastan All -Armenian Fund in Los-Angeles.
Mr. Suleymanov stated that Azerbaijan is ready to support the activity of Azerbaijani Diaspora every time.
â€œAmericans have got a lot of potential and opportunities to carry any actions. We would like Azerbaijanis living in US to use their opportunities in high level and more actively,â€ he said.
Mr. Suleymanov noted that Armenian Diaspora will not solve Karabakh conflict for their benefit collecting $15 million. He underlined that radical forces among Armenian Diaspora wanted to pose as they are doing something for Armenia. A part of this amount will be spent to the support of Armenian Diaspora. Mr. Suleymanov stated that he does not want Azerbaijani Diaspora to be satisfied with gathering funds.
â€œWe want that our Diaspora to become strong force from political, social, economic and cultural point of view,â€ he said.
He noted that it is not exactly known, how many Azerbaijanis live in California, but there are enough of them.
