Members of Azerbaijani community in California meet with congresswoman Jane Harman<font color=red> PHOTOSESION</font>

The meeting was held when Jane Harman representing 36th district of California in US Congress was awarded special prize at Los-Angeles University, California. Javid Huseynov, Samir Lutfeliyev and Rovshen Rzayev, representatives of Azerbaijan Council of American (Southern California, Irvine city) and Northern Azerbaijan Cultural Center of America (Northern California, San-Francisco city) attended the presentation ceremony of reward of International Center named after Tom Bradley ,former mayor of California. They presented books of Heydar Aliyev Foundation about Khojali genocide and monuments destructed by Armenian in Karabakh. About 50 Armenian students held protest action outside the building of the event. Turkish community also attended the event. Harmanâ€™s voting against discussion of so-called Armenian genocide in US Congress caused it later before. Ms. Harman sent a letter to Nancy Pelosi, speaker of House of Representatives and stated that above said resolution will cause serious problem between Turkey and the US. /APA/
