Alex Shapiro-Suliman: Azerbaijani-Israel friendship is not against anyone
He stated that Israel is trying to establish its relations with official Baku on mutual respect, esteem and equal rights.
“Political and economical relations between Azerbaijan and Israel are developing in high level today. Senior officials are making mutual visit exchanges. Following this, Israel is buying oil from Azerbaijan through the BTC oil pipeline. I regard that Israeli-Azerbaijan relations have good prospects,†he said.
Mr.Shapiro underlined that the two countries have opportunities for cooperating in the fields of health, energy, industry, communication, transport, construction and other fields.
“Azerbaijan and Israel have already found mutual interest and contact points. Of course, the development of our relations worries the evil-doers. But they should know that we are not trying to make friends against anybody, and our friendship is not against anybody. We are expecting others to join our joint projects. I will do my best for expanding cooperation between physical and juridical persons of the two countries as the vice-president of Association and businessman. Azerbaijan can rely only on Azerbaijani-Israeli International association in Israel. Azerbaijan’s noble people protect their national interests as a real Diaspora,†he said.
The famous businessman stressed the necessity of deepening relations between state and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), parliaments of the two countries.
“Israeli companies are interested in the oil fields of Azerbaijan. Therefore Israel made a decision on supporting joint projects in the energy field of Azerbaijan. Israeli proper companies are negotiating with Azerbaijan for participating in the oil projects of the country,†he underscored. /APA/
