1st forum of Azerbaijani scientists abroad to be held in June

The first forum of Azerbaijani scientists living abroad will be held on June 4-10 in Antalya, Turkey, Nazim Ibrahimov, chief of the State Committee on Azerbaijanis Living Abroad told the APA. The forum of the Azerbaijani journalists working abroad will be held in Baku in September on the initiative of this committee. The exact date of the forum is unknown. Noting that the activity of Diaspora organizations operating abroad is extending, Ibrahimov said the activities in this field should be strengthened. Scientists and creative people should also join this process.
â€œSo there is a need for organizing events with people of different professions. By holding such forums we involve them in the Diaspora activity. Scientists and creative people have different views. They will exchange views on activities of Diaspora organizations abroad,â€ he said. /APA/
