Nazim Ibrahimov meets with Azeri Jews in Haifa

Over 800 people attended the meeting organized in Haifa Concert hall, APA reports.
Ibrahimov noted that he highly appreciates the union of Jews who moved from Azerbaijan and the mission of the Azerbaijan-Israel International Association to be founded.
The member of Israel’s parliament Iosif Shagal greeted Azerbaijani delegation and noted that new organization will serve expansion of political, economic and cultural relations between the two states. The meeting continued with the concert program of Azeri musicians.
Over 8,000-10,000 Azeri Jews live in Haifa. Haifa-Baku Society was founded in 1991. The constituent congress of Azerbaijan-Israel International Association will be held on April 12 in Tel Aviv. Azerbaijani delegation headed by Nazim Ibrahimov will attend the congress. /APA/
