Baku – APA. European Azerbaijanis Congress (EAC) began its third meeting in Frankfurt, Germany on Tuesday, press service of the State Committee for Diaspora Activities told APA. Chairman of the State Committee for Diaspora Activities Nazim Ibrahimov, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov, Dr. Hakki Keskin of German Bundestag, Member of Azerbaijani Milli Mejlis, Chairman of World Azerbaijanis Congress Sabir Rustamkhanli, leaders and representatives of EAC Diaspora organizations are attending the congress. EAC President Namig Aghamirov welcomed the participants. After the playing of Azerbaijan national anthem, Nazim Ibrahimov spoke about the EAC activity and serious concerns of Azerbaijan public community over the reports on the opening of Turkey-Armenia borders. Parviz Shahbazov and Sabir Rustamkhanli also addressed the congress.
