The transition to energy sustainability and a circular economy could create more than 100 million jobs globally by 2030, Mia Seppo, Assistant Director General of the ILO for Labor and Social Protection, said this during her speech at the joint meeting on "Baku Human Development Initiative for Climate Resilience" within COP29, APA reports.
According to her, national adaptation plans and other climate policies should pay attention to the issue of youth, children and women: "Human development must be prioritized, focusing on education, skills, health, jobs and social protection.
