Representatives from Australia, Japan, Malta, Honduras, Pakistan, Zambia, New Zealand, and Bolivia shared their positions on the documents, emphasizing the need for COP29 to send clear signals across all areas of climate action, with a focus on the importance of climate finance. They also addressed the shortcomings in documents from previous COPs, expressing hope that decisions made at COP29 would lead developed countries to allocate climate finance to address the challenges faced by developing countries in relation to climate change.
