The head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, has paid a working visit to the Turkish capital, APA’s Moscow bureau reports, citing Kommersant.
It was noted that during the meetings held as part of the visit, the resolution of the military conflict in Ukraine was discussed.
Kommersant wrote that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan commented on Naryshkin’s visit.
“Yesterday, Mr. Naryshkin was in Ankara, and there he informed us about Russia’s position regarding Trump’s peace plan. There is progress on this issue, and we have evaluated all of it,” the newspaper quoted Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan as saying at a press conference held in Berlin.
