A total of 28,595 sanctions have been imposed on Russia, which is many times more than the sanctions imposed on all other countries combined, said Russian President Vladimir Putin, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, even if a gesture is made towards Russia and the sanctions are softened, another way to pressure Russia will be found: "Nothing will be the same as before."
Putin noted that local entrepreneurs have learned to work under sanctions, and the restrictions that have been adapted have become a catalyst for positive changes in the economy.
Putin believes that sanctions are not temporary or targeted measures but a systematic pressure mechanism on Russia.
He urged businesses not to perceive the sanctions against Russia as temporary measures.
