"Ukraine is mostly supplied with Soviet-made weapons, and these weapons are likely to run out," said Vladimir Putin, Russian President at a press conference after the meeting of the State Council, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
"Those who oppose us say that it is supposedly a defensive weapon. Good. We will take that into account. Therefore, those who do it do not do it in vain. It just means prolonging the conflict. That's it," the Russian President said in response to a question about the United States' delivery of Patriot systems to Ukraine.
Putin also said that Russia takes into account and calculates how many weapons are left in the warehouses in Ukraine:
"Russia spends its military reserves, these are big numbers, but the difference with the Ukrainian military-industrial complex is huge. Kyiv's reserves will soon run out. We intend to increase the production of weapons."
