A man has died after he was shot outside of a community center in southwest Sydney on Wednesday night, Xinhua reports.
Police said that the man, who has not been identified, was shot in the car park of a community center in the southwest Sydney suburb of Punchbowl around 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday.
He was treated by ambulance paramedics, but died at the scene.
Police officers established a crime scene and were told that a vehicle was seen driving away from the location following the shooting.
The attack was the third fatal shooting in Sydney so far in September, after two people died after they were mistakenly targeted in fatal shootings linked to organized crime on consecutive days at the start of the month.
