Putin reaffirmed that Russia is interested in resolving the Ukraine crisis through political and diplomatic means.
The Russian leader also noted that the U.S.’s current proposals regarding Ukraine could form the basis for a settlement.
Putin and Erdoğan agreed to intensify Russia–Türkiye contacts on the Ukraine issue at various levels.
Erdoğan shared with Putin his impressions from his trip to the G20 summit and meetings with the leaders of several participating countries.
The two leaders agreed to maintain regular contacts.
