Most Armenians do not want to see Azerbaijani border guards, which is unfortunate, but over time, this will change, Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan said, APA reports.
Simonyan noted that Armenians and Azerbaijanis do business together, maintain friendships, and even attend each other’s birthdays in Moscow, and similar interactions occur in other countries.
He added that while sensitivities exist on both sides, opening communications as soon as possible is a priority: “Armenians and Azerbaijanis will trade with each other; we will have a unified Armenia-Azerbaijan goods market. Azerbaijani products will be in our stores, and Armenian products will be available in shops in Baku and other cities. This is inevitable.”
