The Armenian government has approved the signing of the charter of the “Board of Peace,” APA reports.
The relevant decision, signed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, has been published on the official website of the government.
“Based on Article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia ‘On International Treaties,’ the Government of the Republic of Armenia has decided to approve the proposal to sign the charter of the ‘Board of Peace,’” the decision states.
The document also instructs the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, to organize the signing of the charter.
Recall that U.S. President Donald Trump announced the creation of the “Board of Peace” in the context of the situation in Gaza and invited the leaders of several countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Belarus, to the “Board of Peace.”
