Georgian Prime Minister Resigns

Tbilisi – APA. Georgian Prime Minister Grigol Mgaloblishvili has resigned two months after taking the post, citing his health condition, APA reports quoting Civil Georgia.
Mgaloblishvili said on January 30, that he had requested the President to consider nominating Nika Gilauri, the finance minister and first vice premier, for the PM’s position.
Mgaloblishvili, 35, has spent most of this month either in Germany or in Tbilisi hospital, according to the official information, undergoing medical examination related with kidney problems.
