Sergeant of Russian army claimed to be captured says he deserted to Georgia

Tbilisi â€“ APA. Sergeant of Russian army Alexander Glukhov, who is claimed to have been captured, told Reuters that he had come to the Georgian side on his own will. APA reports that Glukhov said he planned to live in Georgia for a while.
â€œI plan to live here for a while. I just spoke to my mum to calm her down,â€ he told Reuters at a McDonald’s restaurant in downtown Tbilisi. Georgian Interior Ministry officials were present at the fastfood restaurant.
Official Moscow says that Alexander Glukhov has been captured by Georgian intelligence bodies in South Ossetia.
