Baku-APA. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko extended on Tuesday his welcome to Chinese investment in his country, APA reports quoting news.yahoo.com website.
China has great financial opportunities and is looking to invest in various parts of the world, he said in a parliament speech on Tuesday. While building manufacturing facilities in Belarus, Chinese companies also use cutting-edge technologies and equipment, he said, adding the projects run by China are beneficial for Belarus.
According to Lukashenko, the Chinese are building a hotel and China town in Minsk. What’s more, Belarus and China are creating a big industrial park near the Belarusian capital. "We must build this industrial park. It’s 45 billion U.S. dollars revenue per year. This is the same free trade zone! They attract world companies there," he added.
