Baku – APA. The parliamentary elections in Armenia were observed with mass offences of law. APA reports quoting Armenian press that In Gegharkunik village of Gegharkunik region of Armenia, the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) distributed 15 thsd AMD ($38) to the population as a bribe, Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) - 10 thsd AMD ($25) and Dashnaktsutyun Party- 10 thsd AMD ($25).

“ArmInfo” writes that the candidates for parliament held an open auction in electoral district â„–14 for giving bribes to the voters. Candidates for parliament from two coalitional parties offered the same amount of bribe to voters - 10,000 AMD ($25)and poor voters could not chose between the two parties after they took money from both the candidates. In the electoral district No.11 in Yerevan, candidates from the coalitional parties proved quite generous. The preliminary 10,000 AMD offered by one candidate was soon outbargained by his rival, who offered 12,000 AMD ($30) per vote. Vanadzor office of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly received numerous signals about delivery of election bribes.

Another violation of law in the elections was that the stamps put in the voters’ passports at 10/01 polling station disappeared within 15 minutes and the voters using it voted in the other districts.
