Armenian army loses 44 servicemen this year

Yerevan â€“ APA. Armenian army lost 44 servicemen in 2010 and only 7 of them were killed as a result of violation of ceasefire in the contact line between the troops, said head of the Helsinki Citizensâ€™ Assembly Vanadzor Office Arthur Sakunts. He said Armenian defense ministry reported about the deaths of 31 servicemen last year. â€œThere are so many unexposed murder cases and so many unresolved issues long years in succession that it became intolerable. Even increase of interest to this problem can not save the system from lawlessness and corruption. If the Supreme Commander-in-Chief says that he hates the people, who are raising these issues, what can be expected from the defense officials used only for political goals? Besides seven other cases, is any commander or officer brought to justice for 37 facts of death. They are charging only the soldiers in a short time and make decisions on their evidences. This is a high-level absurd. I demand resignation of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, defense minister and chief of general staffâ€.
