Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Deputy commander of Armenian fourth army corps Grisha Khachaturov, who is the son of Armenian General Staff chief Yuri Khachturov, resigned from his post, said Armenian “Graparak†newspaper, APA reports.
The newspaper said defense minister Seyran Ohanyan has already approved his resignation. Khachaturov left his post in a protest against the arrest of his friend, commander of Ararat military base Vardan Martirosyan. According to the newspaper, Vardan “Roj†Martirosyan was arrested for insulting the soldiers and bribe.
