Russian interior minister Rashid Nurgaliyev: â€œTerroristsâ€™ attempted attack on Chechen parliament failedâ€

Baku â€“ APA. â€œThree terrorists blew up themselves killing two police and one member of the parliamentâ€™s staff during the special operation at the Chechen parliamentâ€, Chechen president Ramzan Kadirov told journalists, APA reports. He said the terrorists attempted to attack the parliament building at about 09.45 in the morning and killed two guards and business executive of the parliament. Kadirov said 12 special-assigned police were involved in an operation, which lasted 15-20 minutes.

Russian interior minister Rashid Nurgaliyev also said that the terroristsâ€™ attempted attack on Chechen parliament failed. â€œThey couldnâ€™t achieve their goals. Police prevented their attempt to enter the building. Unfortunately there were casualties. Three were killed and three others were hospitalizedâ€.

RIA news agency was told at the Grozny hospital that 15 wounded people and three bodies were brought to the hospital.
