Terrorists attack Chechnya parliament, two dead and several taken hostage

Baku â€“ APA. A suicide bomber and two gunmen attacked the local parliament in Chechnya on Tuesday, Russia, APA reports quoting RIA news agency. At least two people were reportedly killed. RIA said a suicide bomber had detonated explosives just outside parliament and that two armed insurgents had then engaged in a gun battle with guards around the building. Interfax news agency said the shooting was continuing. Civil staff members of the parliament were reportedly evacuated from the building, but shooting is continued outside the parliament speaker Dukuvakh Abdurrahmanovâ€™s office. Security forces began special operations to render the terrorists harmless. The parliament speaker is alive. Russian interior minister Rashid Nurgaliyev is in Grozny.
The terrorists have taken several people hostage, AFP reports quoting the Chechnyaâ€™s interior ministry. According to the preliminary reports, three terrorists could enter the parliament building. Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadirov arrived at site.
