49 people arrested in Uzbek village near Osh

Osh – APA. 49 people were arrested during the operation in Nariman village populated by Uzbeks near Osh, human rights activist Tolekan Ismayilov said, APA repots. He says the detainees have been held accountable. Interfax reports quoting the sources in the Kyrgyz intelligence agencies that at least 7 of them are hired snipers. The clearing operations started in Nariman village yesterday. Two village residents were killed, 20 were wounded during the operations. Head of the interim government Roza Otunbayeva has immediately left for Osh. The visit is reportedly connected with the recent happenings in Nariman village.
