Baku-APA. Construction of civilian nuclear plants in Iran as well as supplies of defensive armaments to that country will not be affected by the new round of sanctions against it by UN Security Council, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov here Thursday, APA reports quoting news.xinhuanet.com website.
"The resolution doesn’t put up any obstacles in this sense and this concerns not only the Bushehr (nuclear power plant) project but any other number of new light-water nuclear power units," Lavrov told reporters.
Plans to launch the Bushehr plant in August remain unchanged, said
