Baku – APA. Today Mikheil Saakashvili, the leader of Georgia, opened a main street in Batumi, named after Lech Kaczynski, the President of Poland, killed in aircraft wreck, and his wife Maria.
Saakashvili mentioned the aspiration for freedom and intrepidity in front of dangers on the way to achieving freedom united peoples of Georgia and Poland.
"It’s the main attraction of Georgia and Poland... These are peoples that weren’t broken, these are peoples that are not afraid, peoples that struggle and will struggle to the end, as the main value for them isn’t wealth, comfort, not even life, but freedom," Saakashvili said delivering a speech in the new street.
Earlier the name of the deceased Polish leader was granted to the [previously] Black Sea street in Tbilisi. It crosses the George Bush Street, which received its name several years ago.
