Baku - APA. On April 15, in the foothill Achkhoy-Martan District of Chechnya, in the vicinity of Bamut village, an explosion of a land mine and shelling wounded a Russian military and a Chechen militiaman, APA reports quoting Russian news agencies. “When conducting their operative-search actions, three militiamen blew themselves up on an unidentified explosive. As a result, they received fragmental wounds and were hospitalized. There were no casualties among militiamen,” said the source. Tonight one police officer was wounded during skirmish with gunmen in Urus-Martan District of Chechnya. Note that, with the onset of spring-and-summer season, more active operations of armed formations can be expected in the territory of the region. The main reason is that the appearing greenery allows militants practically freely move in the mountain-woody areas and undertake sudden attacks and subversive and terrorist actions.
