Russian Defense Ministerâ€™s photographer commits suicide

Moscow â€“ APA. Russian Defense Ministerâ€™s personal photographer Leonid Yakutin shot himself dead with his inscribed pistol. Yakutin was an editor-in-chief of the Defense Ministryâ€™s Voeninform photo agency, APA reports. The Defense Ministry spokesman told Interfax that Yakuting left a letter for his family informing that he tired to struggle with fatal disease he suffered and saw way out in the suicide. Yakutin was a personal photographer of all Russian defense ministers and made pictures of the official meetings held by ministers Igor Rodionov, Igor Sergeyev, Sergey Ivanov and Anatoly Serdyukov. Yajutin was one of the best Russian photojournalists and his photos were published in the leading newspapers of the country.
