Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh – APA. Georgian opposition will continue the protest actions in front of the parliament, presidential residence of Avlabar and Public Television in Tbilisi, APA Georgian bureau repots. The opposition pitched 30 tents around the Avlabar residence. They hanged the president’s resignation on the grills around the building and put a big pencil near it, hinting that Mikhail Saakashvili can sign it at any time. The protesters hold various painting contests for Mikhail Saakashvili’s comic pictures and promise to award the winner of the contest with the president’s chair after his resignation. One of the opposition leaders, former president Zviad Gamsakhurida’s son Konstantin Gamsakhurdia said they would picket the parliament’s entrances and exits. “This parliament is a false parliament. Its activity is out of law”, said Gamsakhurida.

Speaker of the parliament David Bakradze said the dialogue was an only way for improving of situation in the country. State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Georgy Baramidze said Russian tanks were deployed in 40 km of Tbilisi. “We can begin dialogue with the opposition, but there will be no dialogue on the president’s resignation”.

Three opposition activists were beaten last night near the Avlabar subway station and were taken to hospital.
