Zurab Nogaideli refuses to participate in opposition’s rallies

Baku – APA. Leader of the Movement for Just Georgia, former Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli said they would not participate in the rallies of the opposition any more, APA reports quoting Gruzia online agency. Zurab Nogaideli did not clarify the reasons why he refused to participate in the rallies aiming to achieve resignation of President Mikhail Saakashvili. The sources in the Movement for Just Georgia say that Nogaideli did not agree to the methods of the opposition leaders.

Former Prime Minister said he will announce the reasons of refusing to participate in the rally after protest actions are over.

The movement led by Zurab Nogaideli began protest action in Batumi on April 9. On April 10, he was expected to join the protest action in Tbilisi along with his supporters, but it did not happen.

Some said the other opposition leaders did not want Nogaideli to make speech at the demonstration, this made him angry.

Georgian opposition began uninterrupted rallies on April 10. They demand resignation of President Mikhail Saakashvili.
