On European stock markets, the FTSE 100 index rose by 0.24% to 10,491.39 points. Germany’s DAX index declined by 0.8% to 25,184.89 points, France’s CAC-40 index fell by 1.03% to 8,173.11 points, and the Euro Stoxx 50 index dropped by 1.18% to 6,064.15 points.
On global markets, the euro appreciated by 0.09% against the U.S. dollar, reaching $1.1642.
