Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev –APA. Toponymy Commission under MM will conduct discussions over changing the name of Khanlar Region of Azerbaijan, Budag Budagov, Head of Toponymy Commission under MM told APA.
To him, the commission will consider the issue at the meeting tomorrow.
“We discussed the proposal on calling Khanlar as Goygol last week. Members of the Commission have sent a proposal to Khanlar leadership on calling Khanlar as Javadkhan. Khanlar leadership insisted on calling the region as Goygol. We agreed with them. We will discuss the issue tomorrowâ€, he said.
