Azerbaijanâ€™s first Administrative Procedural Code recommended to Parliament for second reading

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. Draft Administrative Procedural Code has been discussed today at the meeting of the Parliamentâ€™s Standing Commission on Legal Policy and State Building, APA reports. Chairman of the Commission Ali Huseynov said the document was the first Administrative Procedural Code of Azerbaijan. He said this code would serve the regulation of relations between citizen and state.
â€œThis code should broadly be discussed in the Judicial Council and other judicial bodiesâ€, he said.
MP Gudrat Hasanguliyev offered to add a separate chapter on the administrative activity to the code. The parliamentarian also said local courts should consider administrative issues, as courts have rigid schedule.
After the discussions, the draft Administrative Procedural Code was recommended for the consideration of the Parliament for the second reading.
