Budget of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic confirmed

APAâ€™s Nakhchivan bureau reports that nine issues were included into the agenda of the meeting. 43 out of 45 parliamentarians attended the meeting. They discussed results of socio-economic development of the Autonomous Republic last year, implementation of 2007 budget and Ombudsman of the Autonomous Republic Ulkar Bayramova made report. The law on the Bar of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was adopted and the law on ombudsman of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was amended.
Anar Ibrahimov, head of Azerbaijani mission of the Local and Regional Authorities Congress of the Council of Europe addressed the meeting. The decrees of the chairman of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were confirmed. Draft budget of the Autonomous Republic for 2008 and draft budget of the State Social Protection Fund of the Autonomous Republic was debated and confirmed at the meeting.
Finance Minster of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Khalid Isgandarov told APA that budget of Nakhchivan for 2008 made up over AZN 200mln. This is 30-35% more compared with the last year. /APA/
