Azerbaijani parliament starts debating bill on education

Speaker of the parliament Ogtay Asadov called the parliamentarians to be active in the debates and said that the bill is a framework law in the field of education. The bills covering other spheres of education will also be adopted in the parliament.
Chairman of the parliamentâ€™s standing commission on science and education Shamsaddin Hajiyev said that discussion of the bill is very important in the history of the parliament of the third convocation.
â€œThe adoption of the law has been on the agenda for ten years. The project has been put for discussion by the resolute will of the parliament leadership,â€ he said.
The bill consists of 6 chapters and 44 items.
Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov, chef of State Student Admission Commission (SSAC) Maleyka Abbaszadeh and the representatives of the other education-related state bodies participate in the debates. /APA/
