Azerbaijani Parliament standing commission on science and education holds meeting

Azerbaijani Parliament standing commission on science and education held first meeting in the framework of autumn session, Parliamentâ€™s press service told the APA.
Plan of legislative works for 2007 autumn session of the commission was debated and asserted at the meeting. Following this, issue on the assertion of agreement on the CIS member-states free exit to open scientific technical information and exchange rule was examined.
Issue on amending several legislative acts by applying law on â€œmaintenance of gender equalityâ€ was debated.
Chief of Commission Shamsaddin Hajiyev stated that nearly 15 laws will be amended due to this document. All the documents were submitted to autumn session of Azerbaijani Parliament after debates. /APA/
