Parliament’s standing commission on regional issues meets

Parliament’s standing commission on regional issues had a meeting, APA reports. Chief of the commission Arif Rahimzade said seven draft laws will be debated in the parliament’s fall session. The commission chief said two draft laws will be prepared in the new editorial office for submitting to the spring session.
“They will cover the laws on the activity of municipality institution. The aim is to regulate the status of about 23,000-24,000 municipality officers,” he said.
The issues on changing administrative and territorial division of Agdash region was also debated at the meeting. According to the project five administrative and territorial districts are planned to be established in Agdash region.
Some parliamentarians considered it necessary to amend the list of municipalities added the law on territories and lands of municipalities regarding the changes in administrative and territorial division of Aghdam and Masalli regions. The draft laws were recommended to the agenda of the parliament’s fall session.
Action plan of the fall session of the standing commission on regional issues was also confirmed at the meeting. /APA/
