Azerbaijani parliament meets

Azerbaijani Parliament held next session today, APA reports. Parliamentarian Mubariz Gurbanli gave a proposal on prohibition of smoking in public places and severing legislation on it. Musavatâ€™s representative Ikram Israfil called Parliament to comment on the issues raised at the debate.
He said that after the increase in the price of energy deliveries enterprises of â€œAzerikimyaâ€ State Company stopped their activity within three months and did not pay the salaries of the workers.
â€œThe workers who require their salary are dismissed from office. I regard that they should be sent back to workâ€, he said.
Speaker of the Parliament Ogtay Asadov said that they commented on the issues in necessary momentum.
â€œIf there is a problem in â€œAzerikimyaâ€, appeal to me and weâ€™ll phone and elucidate the problemâ€, he said.
Parliamentarian Gudrat Hasanguliyev criticized Disciplinary Commission for rebuking Fazail Agamali.
â€œAll of us criticized Huseyn Abdullayevâ€™s behavior. Even Ali Ahmadov appreciated it as insult. And now instead of awarding the man who removed hooliganism, we punish himâ€, he said.
The chief of Citizen Solidarity Party (CSP) Sabir Rustamkhanli said there was indefiniteness in the attitude to national issues and expressed his objection to Hadi Museviâ€™s hand over to Iran. Conflict occurred between the speaker and S.Rustamkhanli at this time.
Asadov advised Rustamkhanli to raise this issue in Azerbaijani-Iran interparliamentary friendship group.
â€œDismiss me from that groupâ€ Rustamkhanli said. â€œWrite your petition and leaveâ€ Asadov responded.
Fazail Gazanfaroglu gave a proposal that Foreign Ministry should elucidate the issue for learning Azerbaijanâ€™s position on US-Iran relations.
Asadov commenting on the raised issues, said that debate on Azerbaijanâ€™s commitments in PACE spring session meeting was held in high level yesterday.
â€œSome parliamentarians were anxious on this debate. No sanction was applied against Azerbaijan in the session, and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Council of Europe was appraisedâ€, he said. /APA/
