Bill on social adaptation of released prisoners passes first reading

The parliament approved the bill on social adaptation of released prisoners in the first reading, APA reports. Parliamentarian Elmira Akhundova reported about the bill. She said that the aim of the bill is to determine legal principles of adaptation of prisoners after they are released and regulate problems in this sphere. The parliamentarians underlined the importance of social adaptation of released prisoners. Parliamentarian Rabiyyet Aslanova said social adaptation should start while they are in prison. The bill passed the first reading.
The bill on state debt was also debated in the second reading.
Ziyad Semedzade, chief of economic policy standing commission said that opinions and proposals put forward with regard to the bill were taken into consideration by the working group. The bill was approved in the second reading. /APA/
