Baku-APA. South Korean President Park Geun-hye has labelled the seismic event that occurred near a nuclear site in North Korea on Friday a nuclear test, calling it a provocation, APA reports quoting Yonap News Agency.
Yonhap cited Park as saying on Friday that the test would invite stronger sanctions against Pyongang and lead to North Korea’s deeper isolation, accelerating its "self-destruction."
Park’s remarks came after an emergency session the South Korean leader held on Friday. According to Yonhap, Park has also discussed the alleged nuclear test in North Korea with US President Barack Obama over the phone.
