Baku-APA. Casualties were feared as an explosion rocked central Afghan capital of Kabul on Friday evening, witnesses and sources said, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
"The blast occurred at around 07:45 p.m. (15:15 GMT). We still cannot provide details of causalities. There is fear of possible causalities," a security source told Xinhua.
"So far, we have no more details, but we will try to get information," he said.
Witnesses said that they heard a loud explosion at Macroryan, a locality near Kabul airport that gives home to several apartment buildings and diplomatic offices.
