Baku-APA. At least six people were killed when U.S. pilot less aircraft launched missiles strikes in Pakistan's northwest tribal town of Datta Khel on Tuesday night, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
ARY News said the U.S. drone fired two missiles at a house believed to be a hideout of suspected militants in Datta Khel town of North Waziristan agency, a restive tribal area at Pakistan- Afghanistan border.
The strike leveled the house to the ground, killing six people whose identities have not been determined.
Following the strike, the unmanned aircrafts kept on hovering over the area for some time, creating panic among the residents which include a large number of women and kids.
Officials has not confirmed the strike yet.
Tuesday night's strike was the 17th of its kind in tribal areas of Pakistan. To date, over 123 people have been killed and several others got injured in such strikes since the beginning of this year.
