Baku-APA. Five people, including a foreigner, died in a fire early Tuesday in a night club in the tourism hub in Siem Reap province, Chhoeun Chheng, deputy chief of the provincial fire-fighting police office, confirmed, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

"Three women and two men, including a foreign man, were killed in the blaze, and other two women were seriously injured," he told Xinhua over telephone after the incident.

He said the identity of the foreign man remained unknown, except that he was a guest in the club.

The fire happened at 3:00 a.m. local time and was completely extinguished at 5:00 a.m., he said.

"Electric fault was blamed for the blaze," he added.
