The United States is interested in Arab states covering the costs of Washington's military operation against Iran, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated at a regular press briefing, APA reports.
"I think President [US President Donald Trump] would be very interested in encouraging them to do so," she said, commenting on the question of whether Washington would like Arab countries to finance an American operation against Iran. "I won't preempt him on this issue. But I certainly know he has this idea," the White House spokesperson emphasized. She promised that the US prime minister would comment on the matter later.
