Türkiye’s Presidential Communications Directorate has responded to claims that the country would join the war on Iran’s side, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The statement said that the circulating reports are disinformation.
It was emphasized that such disinformation posts are also part of psychological warfare and aim to damage Türkiye’s image, as well as overshadow its constructive role in the crisis.
“Claims that Türkiye will join the war on Iran’s side or enter Lebanon are disinformation. Such posts are also part of psychological warfare and aim to harm Türkiye’s image and overshadow its constructive role in the crisis,” the statement said.
