Saudi Arabia's state oil company Saudi Aramco has suspended the export of liquefied hydrocarbon gas from the Jumaymah terminal in the east of the country, Reuters reports citing a statement from the company.
According to the report, the incident occurred on February 23. Agency sources say that the cause was the collapse of part of the overpass through which propane and butane pipelines passed.
The company announced that it has activated its emergency response plan and suspended scheduled deliveries of liquefied hydrocarbon gas for the next few weeks.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident and no gas leak was reported.
