At least three travelers lost their lives and 13 others sustained injuries due to separate road accidents in eastern Afghanistan's Logar province, provincial police spokesman Ahmadullah Anas said Saturday, APA reports citing Xinhua.
The deadly accidents took place in the provincial capital Pul-e-Alam, and Mohammad Agha district on Friday evening, leaving three dead on the spot and injuring 13 others, some in critical condition, the official added.
The injuries were shifted to the nearest hospital for treatment.
The official blamed reckless driving for the deadly accident, noting that traffic police would check drivers' carelessness to prevent such accidents in the future.
