Baku-APA. The Afghan Taliban announced on Tuesfay that the group released the remaining four of eight Turkish civilians captured by the militant group, APA reports quoting Todays Zaman.
The Taliban's announcement came after Turkey said it has secured the release of four of the eight captives held by the militant group in Afghanistan for more than two weeks.
Eight Turkish engineers, an Afghan and two pilots from Russia and Kyrgyzstan were onboard a Russian Mi-8 helicopter when it made a "hard landing" in a remote part of Logar province due to bad weather in April. They were taken captive by the Taliban, which controls the area.
